EWS Enhancement: Self-Report Ethnicity and Others
There are fields in HR that are required to be reported on and we would like them to be options for employees to self-report in EWS under the Personal Profile. This would include ethnicity, disability, veteran status, and smoking status.

Thank you for the suggestion, it's a good one. We have to be careful with the Ethnicity option due to impacts it could have on EEO reports. The other demographics you mentioned all seem reasonable. Putting this out for voting. Thank you!! -

Melissa KainHello. Thank you for the consideration. The ethnicity codes could be tied to the ones listed in HR codes and disability as a checkbox or yes/no field. We are wanting to use EWS for benefit enrollment and onboarding new employees; however, currently, there is no way for them to self-report this information. Thus, we would need to send them a form to complete in order to capture this information and then enter it into HR. As you mentioned, it's needed for EEO reporting.
