Enhancement Request: Filter for Active Customer IDs
It would be extremely helpful to have the option to display only Active Customer IDs throughout MIP.
Currently, every Customer ID that has ever been created is displayed in lookup lists, including inactive customers. As organizations accumulate years of historical data, users must sort through a long list of inactive records to locate the correct active customer, which is time-consuming and increases the risk of selecting the wrong record.
Suggested Enhancement:
Add an "Active Only" filter (or make it the default view) for Customer ID lookup lists.
Provide the ability to toggle between Active, Inactive, and All Customer IDs when needed.
Apply this filter consistently wherever Customer IDs are selected within MIP.
Benefits:
Faster data entry.
Reduced user errors from selecting inactive customers.
Cleaner, more efficient lookup lists.
Improved user experience, especially for organizations with many years of customer history.
This enhancement would significantly improve efficiency for organizations managing large customer databases while still preserving access to historical records when needed.

If you set the Customer to "D" Discontinued rather than Inactive, it will remove it from the lookup lists during data entry.
If needed at a later time, you can reactivate the Customer that you previously marked as Discontinued.
