  When entering a journal entry, show the fund, gl accounts, etc., as we are entering, such as on the c;lassic look, so we know we are entering in the correct accounts.

  I find it super helpful in the classic interface when adding a new segment code to be able use the drop down to see which codes have already been used. This functionality is not available in the Modern UI.. please bring it back!

  One cannot type the fund name or description to get the fund code. If you don't know the number, you cannot search by the name. Please allow for this; I can't imagine why it wouldn't already be enabled.

  Hi, John Michael. Thank you for asking! I'm referring to keying invoices, journal entries, cash receipts--anything that requires a fund code. If I don't know the fund code *number*, I have to go elsewhere to look it up, even though the Cloud doesn't allow you to leave the window to open another. It would be optimal for us to be able to begin typing the fund code *description* and have the list filter through so we can select the proper account. We have so many funds and GL codes to deal with in fund accounting; every extra step decreases productivity. I hope this clears it up!

  I agree. It would be nice to start typing the name of the gl instead of having to search to find the number. To be able to type in name and/or number would be preferable. Also, typing in name, it would search/find letters even in the middle of the name instead of just the beginning of the name.

  I think all fields should have the ability to search by name as well as the number code. It's incredibly time consuming searching for a GL account when you don't know the number code.

  MIP Classic allows us to search for a fund or GL by name. For example, Administrators Fund 1100 can be found by double-clicking the Name field and start typing Administrators; then we can select 1100 from the drop box. MIP Cloud is not very helpful in this way, in that if we don't know the number (and we have hundreds of them!), we have to have another window open or a separate document to refer to. Please make this happen! We rely on the keying process being highly efficient. Thank you!

  when in session and entering an invoice, please make the GL code searchable by title and show title in transaction line once selected. it is not necessary to print on check but seeing it instead of having to click on a dropdown is efficient when double checking a large session before posting.
