Add attachments in EWS timsheets

This would be helpful for things like employees that we don't have them using EWS because they don't have access to the server from their job off site, we could add a scanned copy of their timesheet as back up. It could also help in order to verify jury duty, volunteer time, and probably other things I am not thinking of.

Megh, thanks for the reply. It could be of use however I am thinking of instances where an employee needs to provide 'proof' of something (volunteer hours, jury duty) so in that instance, they don't have access to HR. It would be a way of the employee providing this information or attachment right away and for their future view, connected to the hour entry or what have you.

This would also be helpful when requesting changes to taxes, or other updates, like direct deposits, etc. Since these requests cannot be signed off on, our offices require a hard copy of the form be filled out and signed. If employees could request the change and attach the form to go along with it, it would help with maintaining a paperless environment, especially since we attach these to employee files in payroll.

Hi Sonia, all valid requests! A temporary workaround might be to copy a link to your document/file into the Description box for those entries. This would at least give quick access to the file until we have more robust attachments available. Thanks again!!
