Allow Benefits and Deductions with a YTD Balance to show on all payroll vouchers
When we run our payroll vouchers, the earnings YTD show up even if there is no current activity. We can only see YTD amounts on Benefits and Deductions when there is current activity.

Katherine PurcellThis would be very helpful. The only way we can get YTD figures for benefits and deductions is to use the 'combined codes' format, but that format in particular is extremely unhelpful. Combined codes doesn't even show deductions as negatives, nor does it sort or note what is an earning, benefit, or deduction. It was on our original pay vouchers and all of our employees were confused and felt there was very little transparency or useful information on them. I even got calls from banks asking to interpret the vouchers for them when employees submitted them for various documentation purposes. We strongly prefer to keep our codes separate, but we also want YTD amounts.

Forrest HawesThere really should be a better breakout of the Earnings, Benefits and Deductions for the payroll vouchers. Also, see suggestion - "Forms Designer Additional Fields for Payroll"

ForrestWholeheartedly agree with this!!!! Since the YTD field is already an option in the combined details section it would seem an easy step to put it in the benefits and deductions sections. When you are providing a period amount to an employee why would you not provide a YTD amount in addition?

janine.allen@communitybrands.com AdminYear-To-Date Benefits and Deductions can be printed on payroll vouchers by using the 'MIP Forms - Check 21-Extended' format. You will also need to go to Access Organization>Setup Modules>Payroll>then Check the box to ‘Include Historical Pay Code Information on Stubs’.

Forrest HawesJanine (Admin),
Is this available if the Benefits Table is used to separate benefits from the rest of the earnings and deduction tables? I only see benefit code, benefit amount and benefit title. I don't see a YTD option for this table nor one for the deductions table.
