Be able to Set a Delayed calendar Date to Send an Email delivery of a Payroll Voucher
Many times a payroll file is created days or weeks ahead of time due to holidays or work scheduling. Right now, the email delivery of the payroll voucher has to be completed immediately before the creation of the payroll file is allowed to send to the financial institution. The employee is getting their email payroll voucher a week before their actual deposit is being transmitted. I would like to time their email delivery of their voucher to the date of the actual deposit.

Donna Fritz Admin MergedCurrently when you do the print/send email the voucher goes to there email on that date. Would like the email to hit there email on the actual date that they are getting paid.

Anonymous Admin MergedSometimes I have to process payroll earlier than the 2 banking days needed. Once payroll is completed and processed, employees get an email THAT SAME DAY which is very misleading if it's not going to be in the bank for several more days.

Cynthia AlcalaI agree with this suggestion. The employees receive they direct deposit stubs way before the actual payday. Especially when we have to process early because of the holidays. This often causes confusion as to when they will actually see their money posted to their account.

Forrest HawesMegh's comment was from 2021. Has there been any development on this? We've finally got the company to the point of being able to produce payroll ahead of actual pay date to avoid the rush on payday and it can't be finalized without the ability to send the vouchers at the prescribed date of the deposits to the employee's accounts. We have to process up to the calculation point but then wait to finish on the date the vouchers need to be sent. Oh and this is for on premise install in my case and not the cloud version.

Lisa BartonAdding the capability to set the date the emails go to employees has been a suggestion for over seven years now. This can be very confusing for employees if the payroll is prepared ahead of the paycheck date. This change could make a big difference in my ability to recommend the payroll module to potential new customers that ask about the payroll software.
