AI agent access to MIP — MCP server request
We use MIP Fund Accounting alongside AI agents for month-end and budget analysis, and the current REST API only exposes vendor-attached documents — journal vouchers, cash disbursements and the check register carry no retrievable document IDs, so entire expense accounts return empty rather than erroring, which is a hard failure to catch. Please consider publishing an official MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for MIP with read access to the full transaction register including JV and CD line detail, complete chart-of-accounts titles, and budget figures. A scoped, read-only MCP connector would let AI tools work against MIP the way they already do against SharePoint and Salesforce and other major platforms, without each organization building and maintaining its own API wrapper.
