Increase contrast/visibility of MIP Modern Interface

The standard font and contrast make it difficult to read the details of entries. Even on a widescreen monitor, it seems that there's a lot of wasted width and text is very small, without manually fussing with zoom and column settings. Could you create viewing settings that focus on enhancing legibility, displaying the data without unnecessary dead space, so that the text can be displayed largely and clearly, with good contrast?
