EWS Access On/Off
This is the first time we have run into this, but maybe make a way to turn on/off EWS access for certain staff. Currently, if you make them inactive, they can login but cannot enter a timesheet. If you terminate them in HR, they are unable to login at all. Without going into the details, we have an employee who will be out on leave for the remainder of the month who we would like to terminate their access in EWS since they will not be working. There are check boxes for other things like OT eligible, so maybe under Timesheet Settings, have a checkbox for EWS access. The default in my opinion should be on for all new staff entered, but then we could turn it off on an individual basis if needed.

Andrea GordonWe just thought of another reason for the EWS access box. We have 3 staff members who we are asking for paper timesheets because they are absent today and we need timesheets submitted by lunch today to start processing. For us, the start of processing means going through all timesheets to make sure no changes are needed prior to actually locking them up, which usually takes place at the end of Monday or Tuesday of payroll week. The paper timesheets are used by our Payroll Accountant to enter their timesheet in the system so it is still picked electronically with the others. If we were able to use the checkbox, we could turn off the access to those who we are getting the paper timesheets from so that in between verifying the timesheets and locking them up, they don't submit a duplicate timesheet (or make changes), which we have had happen in the past.
