Allow alpha/numeric names in the Chart of Accounts segments

When naming a new grant have the option to include a dash/hyphen. For example 104-11.

Hi Judith,

This is available as long as it was configured for your organization when that segment was created. You can see the setting by going to Organization>Organization Information>Segments, then look at the character type. If it is set to "N" that will only allow numbers, if it is set to "AN" then you would be able to enter numbers and the dash you are wanting.

This is something that was decided upon when your organization first implemented MIP. If it is something you want to change, you would need to contact your Customer Account Manager.
