Mouse jumps when doing bank reconciliation

When you are doing the bank reconciliation and you go to click on the item, the mouse jumps. Then you have to determine if where it jumped needs to be check marked or not. Then you have to find the one you need again, and it may jump again. I am surprised no one has asked for this...it is very frustrating.
