Inactivate or Deactivate COA enmass

When you have to inactivate codes within the COA you have to click on each account and then click it from active to inactive or deactivate. For those who have a grant segment, there are many grants that expire and need to be inactivated. Why is there not a way to select and inactivate or deactivate a group all at once. It seems this should be a basic function. I think this goes the same for customers and vendors as well.
