SAVE COPIES OF AP CHECKS

We need to be able to produce copies of the check to FEMA (and other parties) for reimbursement. This is NOT the cancelled check, but the entire check to prove it matches the cancelled check. Sadly, not only can we not go to the vendor to see all check history, but we have zero ability to print a copy of the historical check or check stub. In order to provide this required information, we must run our real checks through the scanner. This allows us to save a group of checks as a PDF, but we don't have any vendor check file. Additionally, we have the risk of damaging or destroying checks every time we put them through the machine to scan - not to mention the wasted time doing all of these work-arounds. I can't believe there aren't other folks out there who want/need copies of their AP checks.
