Insert Transaction Lines into Journal Voucher Documents
It would be very helpful to be able to insert lines in between existing lines of the document, in order to present information in a particular order. For example, when copying and reusing a payroll entry but there is a new department to charge. Instead of the added lines for the new department at the bottom of the entry, it would be helpful to be able to insert them so that the journal entry lines are in the same order as the actual payroll register.
11.19.21 MIP Team Update:
Below is the KB (#21506) that will demonstrate how to do this in Classic.

Suzanne AdminHi Suzanne,
You can actually add the line to the bottom and then move it up to whichever position you'd like to see it in.
Hopefully this helps!

SuzanneThank you! I was not aware that you could move the lines up into different positions. How do I do that in MIP Cloud - the only option I see is to Delete a line?

Suzanne AdminHi Suzanne,
Unfortunately there's not a way to drag and drop in the cloud. You can, however, sort by the columns. Once you sort, it should retain that view each time you log in.
Hope this helps!
