update distribution codes via import

the % in our distribution codes change frequently we would like to update them via import instead of having to open each distribution code and changing the amounts manually.

This is available today via the import process. Ask your Customer Account Manager to guide you through this process.

Customer Service indicated that you could import Distribution codes 1 time in the beginning but after that you could not "update" them via a import - has this changed? If so can you please provide instructions on how to do it?

Hi Kimberly,

You can import OVER existing dist codes. For example, if I have a distribution code called Telephone, I can replace all the distribution percentages in a spreadsheet and reimport the Telephone dist code with all the new percentages instead of the old ones. UPDATEITEM, UPDATEIGNOREBLANK are both unnecessary in the definition file for this to work.
