User Defined Fields (UDF) - locations/use in reports

UDF's are only able to be used in 'transaction' related reports. However, UDF's are highly needed in all detailed related reports as well. Such as all detailed ledger reports. An example would be the Detail Encumbrance Ledger.

Typically transaction reports are printed out individually by transaction. However, in my experience, UDF's are used for reporting purposes, such as grants, case management, etc. What is the purpose of having them in the transaction doc if you can't pull a report with UDF in the body content, items by page, or filter.

This enhancement will allow the user to pull the reports necessary for my grant management on both the fiscal and program side of operations. Also note, data and tracking thereof is increasing in regards of reporting, so these udf's are very useful for that purpose.

Need UDF's on other reports, also. Looks like UDF's have been removed from some reports in recent versions? Definitely need many more reports with UDF's.

This is a great idea! We have payroll information in UDF fields and it would be great to see them on all of the reports.

I agree. We would also like to be able to search vouchers by our user defined fields and have them print out on checks as well.

We need to add the option in the Aged Encumbrances report in Filter - ConEndDate. Our Encumbrances Module has been customized to our needs, but this option has not been added to the Encumbrances report. Need help ASAP.
