Cleaning up of the vendor list

There needs to be a way to clean up the vendor list by date of activity. It doesn't have to delete the vendor but deactivate at least. I am doing it manually now and it is very time consuming and tedious. Run a report to find activity then go vendor by vendor and those not on the list deactivate. Its crazy doing all this work!!!
