Allowing Change to Distribution Code

I would like to be able to change a Distribution Code once it is created. Currently you can not go in and make changes once it has been created. For example I have an employee who's department code was accidently put in to the system incorrectly when I transfer from Payroll to AP before I can post payroll I have to Edit Payroll System Checks and change the department code to the correct one.
